Shipping & Delivery Policy

Shipping & Delivery policy forms an integral part of Terms & Conditions.
All deliveries will be made by in accordance with the applicable law/local laws. Cakeonclick will not be responsible for any wrong address provided by you at the time of placing the order. No refund will be made & no redirection/redelivery will be attempted for such cases. It is the sole responsibility of the user/sender to correctly enter the correct address and pin code of the receiver.

Same Day Delivery

Subject to the other terms of the Shipping Policy, orders received on any day till 7 p.m. IST will be delivered on same day unless the delivery date is mentioned otherwise.

Midnight Delivery

Subject to the other terms of the Shipping Policy, delivery will be made between 11.00 pm to 12.30 am on the requested/mentioned delivery date while placing the order.

Fix Time Delivery

Subject to the other terms of the Shipping Policy the order will be delivered +40 or -40 minutes as per the selected time. cannot commit the exact time of delivery. For example, if the customer selects delivery to be made between 4pm-5pm (fixed time delivery) out of the available options, we try our best to deliver the product between 4pm-5pm however, in some circumstances the product may be delivered between +40 or -40 minutes of the delivery slot selected.
No deliveries would be done on National Holidays. The delivery of the same would be done on the next working Day.
Apart from aforesaid shipping & delivery terms, below mentioned terms will be applicable to each & every mode of delivery.
Correct and detailed Address along with Landmark and contact number of the recipient are must for placing the order.
The delivery will be made at the address provided at the time of placing the order & received by & will not be redirected or redelivered to any other address under any circumstances.
Delivery of the products/items ordered on will be made only once at the address as provided while placing the order on In case if the address provided at the time of placing the order is locked, we will try to deliver the product to their neighbour so that they can give the same when the recipient comes. However, we cannot guarantee to provide the product to the neighbour every time. In case, if recipient’s neighbour refuses to accept the delivery of such products, no redelivery will be attempted by us. You need to contact our customer support for details regarding such orders.
In case the delivery is not done due to any reason whatsoever (mentioned below), the customer will still be charged for the order and no refund or redelivery will be initiated by The order will be deemed executed and delivered in case of below mentioned reasons:

  •  Recipient not available to collect the product.
  •  Wrong address provided by customer/sender.
  •  Door/House/Flat locked.
  •  Wrong /incorrect phone or mobile or extension number / no reply / not reachable.
  •  Recipient refused to accept the product.
  •  Delivered the product at the Gate/Reception/Neighborhood.
  •  Decreased product quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender.
  •  Product quality problems caused due to improper handling by the recipient

Product acknowledgement & condition of the product received

When the recipient receives the products ordered by the sender on, he/she needs to sign on receiving slip/form/application. The signature of the recipient/representative of recipient/ family member or neighbor of recipient on the receiving slip/form/application confirms that the products are received in good condition (good condition includes normal wear and tear during the process of delivery). No claims will be entertained thereafter with respect to the condition/appearance of the product. The quality of the cake/flower is as per the quality offered by the local bakeries/florist respectively. does not alter the quality or quantity of the product(s).
If the perishable product delivered to the recipient founds to be un-fresh or bad in taste or appearance, he/she needs to contact our customer support. Our team will inspect the issue & if the claim made by the recipient founds to be true, we may refund the amount of that product only to the bank account/credit card account from which the payment was initiated or we may replace the product with the alternate product of equal or higher value. In such a case, decision of management will be final & no claims will be entertained thereafter. In case the recipient claim founds to be false as per the inspection/checks done by team, no refunds would be made at all under any circumstances nor any replacement of the product will be done. The decision of management would be final.
The images displayed are for representation only. Actual product may vary in shape or design as per the availability. In case of unavailability of the product ordered, reserves the right to substitute the product with equal or higher value/quality.
In case of heavy rains, natural calamity, National Bandh, election dates, curfew, traffic jams, festival times, Diversion of traffic, or any other hurdles that may restrict the delivery of the order, reserves the right to reschedule the delivery for another date.
Orders once placed cannot be cancelled except as aforesaid mentioned.

In case the product is not delivered due to any of the aforesaid reasons, the same can be collected from the delivering outlet of the respective bakery the same day in the same city, details of which can be obtained from our customer support numbers.

Proof of delivery will be provided in case of any dispute in delivery.
In case of non-perishable products, respective product owners would be responsible for the quality of product.
If the delivery of branded items is not possible/ delayed under certain un-controllable circumstances such as product is not available in the market or discontinued by the manufacturer. In such cases, similar product, nearest to the description will be delivered. Confirmation would be sought from the customer for the same through e-mail. However, if no response is received from the customer within 4 hours (1 hour in case of urgency), it shall be assumed that he/she has agreed to the delivery of the alternate/substitute product.
For Delivery to the Hotels/Hospitals please provide below details while placing the order


  • Full address of the hotel.

        Room No.

  • Telephone number of the hotel.


  • Full address of the hospital.

      Ward number or name.

  • Home address of recipient with phone number.

Courier and express products like (cakes, flowers etc) can not be delivered together at same time.
If there is no one available at the shipping addresses (to accept the delivery of your order) at the time of delivery, the order will not be considered late. Hence in such cases, no refunds, cancellations, liability can be made.
If the recipient has not checked into the hotel on the date of delivery, the order will be left at the reception and the order will be deemed executed. If the person has checked out of the hotel by delivery date, the order will be assumed to be executed & no refund will be made in such cases.
For delivery of cakes/flowers gift items to Wedding Ceremonies/ Marriage Halls, may not be able to assure the delivery to the bride and/or bride-groom because of non-accessibility of our delivery team to the recipient. However, will ensure that the delivery is made to one of the responsible member of host.

Special Occasions Shipping Disclaimer (Friendship Day/Valentine’s Day/any other special occasion)

The prices of the products may change on days near to valentine day or on valentine day without prior notice due to Valentine’s rush. If you wish we do not contact the recipient, please contact our customer support team and notify them about the same. We may experience slight delay in delivery confirmation during the peak season time.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the shipping & delivery policy, below special delivery instructions are integral part of Shipping & delivery policy
In case of products with same day delivery facility, during valentine, friendship day, mother’s day or any other special occasion we are unable to commit an exact time of delivery. This option is only available for Fixed-Time Delivery (hourly slots) & Midnight Delivery products.
For Midnight delivery orders, the order may be delivered between 11:00 pm to 1:00 am due to heavy rush or high number of orders. We request you to provide the correct address with pin code and contact details of the recipients.
